Map Making

We are now in week two of Drawing Class at the Colorado Center for the Blind. This week we explored how a bird’s eye “point of perception” can be used to create a map.

this map is on foam core with tape defining the room. Two cardboard squares represent the closets. Strips of foam define the doors. Fuzzy paper represents the counters. Foam rectangles represent the appliances. Slick paper was used for the metal objects like the sinks and fire extinguisher.
